WE ARE A DOG FRIENDLY HOTEL
What is our policy?
At A Quinta da Auga we accept dogs as pets, as long as their breed is medium or small in size and excluding potentially dangerous dogs (PDD). In the event of any request for accommodation with another type of pet that is not a dog or a dog larger than the stipulated size, the client may check with the hotel about the possibility of accommodation, always subject to availability.
In our hotel we offer among our services beds for pets, a feeder, a drinking fountain and the special cleaning that this entails. All the comforts available to them and their owners. The pet supplement, which includes all of the above, is €45.00 per night.
Don't forget to call ahead and check hotel availability before you arrive to also make sure the room has everything you want and need.
Rules for an optimal coexistence with the rest of our guests
There is the possibility of leaving the dogs alone in the room, as long as their owner remains within the hotel facilities and notifying reception in advance.
Our room cleaning service will not enter the room if the pet is inside.
The stay in the common areas with the pet is not allowed except on the terrace. For this reason, a room on the lower floors will preferably be assigned, from where you can directly access the gardens.
They will be able to access the outdoor areas of the hotel, except those areas for rest, such as the pool. The entrance to the restaurant, cafeteria and social room is prohibited.
It is essential that the pet remains calm. Otherwise, and if the noise is constant, the hotel may be forced to cancel the reservation. Proper pet hygiene will also be essential.
In the event of any damage, this will be included in the invoice in a specific section.
Guide dogs and other exceptions
These rules are not applicable to guide dogs accompanying blind people, which will always be accepted regardless of their characteristics without any charge. The same with emotional support dogs, duly justified.
